Take the time today to be still and know that He, the Lord Jesus Christ is God!

                                                               "Beside Still Waters"


                                                     As I hurried about my day,
                                                                 consumed with all my plans,
                                                     I wanted to bring to completion
                                                                 all the work of "MY" hands.

                                                     Enjoying the prospect of accomplishment
                                                                  producing what I think will satisfy,
                                                     I've created more responsibility
                                                                  in which now I can't rectify!

                                                     Slowly I begin to feel the weight,
                                                                  the burden of always doing,
                                                     As my Heavenly Father sees this,
                                                                  He begins to do the wooing.

                                                     He gently calls to me,
                                                                  leave your "Martha" behind.
                                                     Stop and sit at my feet,
                                                                  and forget about the daily grind!

                                                     He says, "Come and follow Me,
                                                                  Let Me restore your soul.
                                                     Walk with Me beside still waters,
                                                                  and I will make you whole".

                                                     A relationship, not a performance....
                                                                  this is what He desires.
                                                     So He can lead in "His" accomplishments,
                                                                  keeping me fueled and on fire.

                                                     The continuity of just loving Him
                                                                  is what pleases Him the most.
                                                     And in return, He will exceedingly satisfy
                                                                  for ONLY in this can I boast!

                                                    THE FRIEND OF ALL FRIENDS

                                                    I have this bonded relationship
                                                    with me and my best friend,
                                                    from the moment of my salvation,
                                                    it shall never end.

                                                    It can only be the closet
                                                    for only He can make you see......
                                                    He is Jesus Christ my Savior,
                                                    and He lives inside of me!

                                                    A quality of unconditional love
                                                    for He has PROMISED always to stay.
                                                    Even in my doubt and faithless times,
                                                    He provides grace every day.

                                                    My cares and worries in this world
                                                    are given to Him with a thought,
                                                    For that is the purpose of prayer
                                                    in the Bible I have sought.

                                                    I can rejoice with the Lord
                                                    because I have the Holy Spirit.
                                                    Who gives me access to
                                                    the One who deserves ALL merit!

                                                    What a marvelous gift to receive
                                                    which is that of Eternal Security.
                                                    For someday SOON I shall see my Father
                                                    in all hope and prosperity!

The Biggest Financial Scandal.......

We always knew that the financial markets were rigged, but this is ridiculous. It is now being alleged that 20 major banks have been systematically fixing interest rates for years. Barclays has already been fined hundreds of millions of dollars for manipulating Libor  (the London Inter Bank Offered Rate). But Barclay says that a whole bunch of other banks were doing this too. This is shaping up to be the biggest financial scandal in history, and criminal investigations have been launched on both sides of the Atlantic. What those investigations are likely to uncover could shake the financial markets to their very core. In the end, this scandal could absolutely devastate confidence in the global financial system and it could potentially bring down a number of major global banks. We have never seen anything like this before.
