So world leaders have done it again. Just recently meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark to address climate change. Granted it is wonderful to see many acting so responsibly.......or so it seems. Actually if anyone would take the time to investigate this treaty they would be in for a rude awakening.
Since the genesis of man, he has forever been trying to dominate the world through force to build one great empire after another. He has sought out the evil desires of his heart, fueled by Lucifer, for greed and power and has accomplished his goal leaving behind a path of genocide and destruction. He has accomplished his goal, although not completely, but has ultimately fallen to its demise and collapse because God has set the boundaries of man in which he can not pass (Acts 17).
Satan is on the prowl again. This time the powers that be see a new vision..........unite the world through cooperation and tolerance for all......except radical Christian fundamentalists. They are an impediment to their progress and are too narrow in their thinking. This new cooperation is being harolded as tolerance for all.....however that tolerance of religion is only possible if your religion is shallow, hollow and without content. Yes, you will fit in quite nicely. And unfortunately, many Christians are jumping on board this utopia and peace bandwagon. This is most egregious and may be considered treason against our Lord Jesus Christ. Where was and is their discernment when they signed the Manhattan Declaration and all the other ecumenical treaties and statements spoken from their mouths.
What most people do not realize is that the Copenhagen Treaty is in reality subjugating the sovereignty of this once great nation and putting all of us under the direct jurisdiction of the World Court completely negating or reputiating our rights as written in the U.S. Bill of Rights. How is that for freedom. You could be guilty of a hate crime and could be tried without your rights as a U.S. citizen because now you are under the jurisdiction of a world court and could be given no trial.
New hate crimes legislation was codified into the Financial Recovery Act of 2009. You could be guilty of a hate crime if you speak out against sodomy, even politely using Gods Word. Can they really charge God with a hate crime.........this country is invoking Gods judgement as it is written in Romans chapter 1. Just recently Mexico legalized same sex marriage unions and for those same sex marriage unions full parental rights as well.
We see clearly as world leaders collaborate and work together to bring a thousand year reign of peace and prosperity for all, with no disparities between rich and poor, for we are all the same. We see that not only is the European Union a democratic alliance but every nation therein is democratic as well. This is their utopia and Satan wants all the power and he wants to be worshipped by all men. Satan, through the Anti-Christ and his False Prophet, will usher in a time of peace, not war. But through peace, he will destroy many! And how true it is. Man will be betrayed by the Anti-Christ because they have not sought out the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, but rather their own vain imaginations! And this will lead only to their demise.

Another step in the wrong direction....
Here we go again with another ecumenical compromise on the books. These people just do not know when to stop do they? These people I am referring to are pretty much the same prominant Christian (influencial...sad to say) leaders that have once again put their John Hancock to some SILLY piece of paper. They have given up their birth right for a pathetic bowl of corn.
The so-called Manhattan Declaration....which, I guess is supposed to sound prestigious or something like that, or perhaps it is supposed to sound important, is filled with just more and more rubbish. God says He will destroy the wisdom of the wise. Why oh why do these men continue to rest in pragmatic solutions to the decaying culture. Hasn't this culture always been in a decaying state? The only difference now is people are coming out of the closet to flaunt their sins by legalizing them. But remember what Paul said in Romans 1. This was during the height of the Roman Empire where sodomy, murder,intrigue and conspiracy, and prostitution were rampant. Nothing has really changed much since the dawn of man. Man has forever been on a quest for power, lust and greed. His heart has not changed. Man simply can not govern himself.
Why do these prominant Christian leaders think that they can somehow change the culture by assimilating to it's solutions and feeble man made solutions? Do they somehow think they can make progress this way? I wonder if any of them have actually taken the time to really think about what they are doing? Frankly to me their Manhattan Declaration as well as their Evangelicals and Catholics Together document is tantamount to appeasing Hitler and signing a peace agreement with him. Or it is like believing the Japs "really" wanted peace even though their true intentions were to bomb Pearl Harbor. Why would we surrender to our enemy? If you knew your enemy was going to kill you anyway, would you really surrender valuable information to him that he would use to destroy your country? Apparently, they did not get their daily briefing from their commander in chief, Jesus Christ.
So where is their loyalty to their commander in chief, Jesus Christ, who spilled out His precious blood so they can have Eternal life? After all, Eternal life comes ONLY through the shedding of our Lord Jesus Blood, not some pretigious, pragmatic, feeble attempt at converting the culture. Jesus said we would be HATED because of Him. Righteousness is a contempt in this world. It always has been because this is Satan's world.....that is reality....not Joel Osteen's silly utopia.
In many parts of the world this would be considered high treason. I wonder what God thinks of it? Well we already know by His WORD.....(what fellowship does light have with darkness? Can two walk together unless they be agreed?) But how come these men just do not know what God thinks about their little compromise? Is it ignorance or a lack thereof? Is it greed and monetary awards as well as prestigious alliances and relationships to prop up their reputations? These men probably have a PR guy who is grooming their flesh and inticing them with worldly acclaim and Satan is dressed as an angel and man does he look good. This is pure sophistry and Satan is the master of disguise.
It all boils down to leadership doesn't it? We have more books on leadership and marketing and secrets to success from CEO's that have taken their little company and turned it into a multi-national, (which by the way, evades corporate taxes that denies the government the much needed revenue to address the national debt, so the IRS comes after the little poor man). Is this really where we are supposed to get ideas for solutions? Their motto is, if it works use it? That is the pragmatic approach....man made wisdom. But these people are totally in the dark....lost, on their way to Hell. Yes, they may have worldly success and yes their leadership and management styles have helped their companies soar but corruption is lurking through it and in the end it will leave them morally and spiritually bankrupt.
It's all rubbish. Just as King Solomon said in Ecclesiates. He had ANYTHING a man could desire, but did it really satisfy him? No, because he concluded that it was ALL meaningless. The only thing that mattered or had any value and meaning was to fear God and KEEP His commandments.

A lesson in pop psychology.......
This post is in response to Dr. Aurthur Caplan who is the Director of the center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. He also is a contributor to MSNBC. Just today he states in a article for MSNBC that health care workers should stop whining and moaning about mandated flu shots. That by protesting a flu shot, we (healthcare workers) are showing a lack of responsibility to care for our patients and to heal and that we should just get another job if we refuse the flu shot.
Clearly what we have here is pop psychology or mind manipulation to throw guilt on healthcare workers who feel uncomfortable with the flu vaccinations.
In the study of Psychology in the Miligram experiments, humans were studied to see if the majority of people can be persuaded to do almost anything. The conclusion in these studies was that human beings, under conditions that were hardly severe, will follow the crowd, even when the crowd is clearly wrong. These Miligram experiments also showed that most peoples tendency to trust and obey authority is so strong that they will shed all personal responsibility, moral training, or creative volition for the sake of following orders.
If you know that a new drug showed in clinical trials that it caused severe side effects, would you continue to persuade the public that the drug is entirely safe because you see the large financial profit in promoting it.
Or perhaps there is really a more sinister, nefarious motive behind it. Something to ponder........

Flu vaccinations.........Bad medicine
About 2 years ago, I made a post on my blog about my skin breaking out all over my back and it literally freaked me out. Not having any idea of what caused this, other than possible poison oak, or some kind of poisonous plant. I took benadryl but that did nothing and so my dad (a retired doc) gave me some oral prednisone that he had on hand and started me on 25mg a day. He instructed me to taper off the dose by 5mg a day. Sure enough, within 2 days, my rash had cleared up.
What I did not realize at that time, was that I just had a hepatitis C vaccination (actually it was a Hepatitis B vaccination....my mistake.....there is no vaccination for Hepatitis C) and I must of had a severe auto-immune reaction to it. I do not know why this time I decided to take the vaccination......which actually consists of a series of 3 shots over a course of 6 months. I had been offered this several times before through the years as a healthcare worker but always declined it. Since I have been listening to Alex Jones on his internet radio program, my eyes were opened to how dangerous these vaccinations are. And this is how I was able to put the two together.
Our children are getting autism like it is a pandemic and IT IS BECAUSE of these vaccinations. Can we really trust our government when they repeatedly show us not to. What kind of crap are they putting in these vaccinations and drugs that these doctors push down our throats. And what about these big Pharmaceutical companies. They too are partnering with the government to push this and that all the while assuring us that it is all safe.
If the government starts mandating people to get these shots, I would encourage everyone to say NO!!!! That is against our constitutional rights and just another way for the government to try to usurp our lives. They are doing so at every opportunity by creating an artificial crisis which galvanizes the people into submitting. They continue to pass laws through the House and then Congress while we are in bed fast asleep. Most the mainstream media and newspapers do not even cover these laws passed. Little by little our freedoms are being taken from us in the middle of the night and one day we will all wake up and will realize that we are living in a police state with government controlling every aspect of our lives and taxing the air we breathe. It is kind of like when you go to bed at night and wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and suddenly realize that you are not 22 anymore. In fact you must of aged 10 years overnight with all your wrinkles and grey hair. And you say to yourself, what happened, where did all those years go. I can not believe I am just about 40 and over-the hill!

JUST A REMINDER ON TRUE PATRIOTISM

True patriotism!
Dear friend,
Allow me to say, that it excites both my wonder and concern, that a Christian minister such as yourself, should think it worth his while to attempt political reforms. When I look around upon the PRESENT STATE OF THE NATION, SUCH AN ATTEMPT APPEARS TO ME, TO BE NO LESS VAIN AND FOOLISH, THAN IT WOULD BE TO PAINT THE CABIN....WHILE THE SHIP IS SINKING! OR TO DECORATE THE PARLOR.....WHILE THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!
When our Lord Jesus was upon earth, He refused to get involved in disputes or politics, "Friend, who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over you?" Luke 12:14. "My kingdom is not of this world! If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight!" John 18:36. God's children belong to a kingdom which is not of this world; they are strangers and pilgrims upon earth, and a part of their Scriptural character is, that they are the "quiet in the land." Psalm 35:19.
Satan has many contrivances to amuse people, and to divert their thoughts from their real danger!
My dear sir, my prayer to God for you is--that He may induce you to employ the talents He has given you, in pointing out sin as the great cause and source of every existing evil; and to engage those who love and fear Him, (instead of wasting time in political speculations, for which very few of them are competent,) to sigh and cry for our abounding abominations, and to stand in the breach, by prayer, that God's wrath may yet be averted, and our national mercies prolonged! This, I think, is true patriotism--the best way in which people in private life may serve their country.
I consider the ungodly as saws and hammers in the hand of the Lord. So far as they are His instruments, they will succeed--but not an inch further! Their wrath shall praise Him, and be subservient to His designs!
If our lot is so cast that we can exercise our ministry free from stripes, fines, imprisonments, and death--it is more than the gospel has promised to us! If Christians were quiet when under the cruel governments of Nero and other wicked persecutors, when they were hunted down like wild beasts--then we ought to be not only quiet but very thankful now! It was then accounted an honor to suffer for Christ and the 'offence of the cross'!
Those are to be greatly pitied, who boast of their 'liberty'--and yet they do not consider that they are in the most deplorable bondage as the slaves of sin and Satan, under the curse of God's law and His eternal wrath! Oh! for a voice to reach their hearts, that they may know their true and dreadful state--and seek deliverance from their horrific thraldom! May you and I labor to direct them to the one thing, which is absolutely needful, and abundantly sufficient.
If I had the wisdom or influence to soothe the angry passions of mankind--I would gladly employ them! But I am a stranger and a pilgrim here in this world. My charter, my rights and my treasures, are all in heaven--and there my heart ought to be. In a very short time, I may be removed (and perhaps suddenly) into the unseen and eternal world--where all that now causes so much bustle upon earth--will be of no more importance to me--than the events which took place among the antediluvians!
In the hour, when death shall open the door into eternity--many things which now assume an 'air of importance', will be found as light and unsubstantial as a child's dream!
How crucial then, is it for me--to be found watching, with my lamp burning, diligently engaged in my proper calling! For the Lord has not called me to set governments right--but to preach the gospel, to proclaim the glory of His name, and to endeavor to win souls! "Let the dead bury their own dead--but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God!" Luke 9:60. Happy is that servant, whom his Master finds so doing, when He returns!
As you have forced me to respond--both duty and love have obliged me to be faithful and free in giving you my thoughts.

H.R. 1207..........Let's put into immediate action!
Just recently Congressman Ron Paul, whom I have a great deal of respect, introduced a proposal to audit the Federal Reserve. This proposal is only a page and a half, very easy to read and understand. He has been talking about this for some time and is usual put down to naught, even though he is right. To many Americans are just plain dumb and gullible which the government knows all to well as we have seen in the "bait and switch" constant with several administrations. Heck, even Hitler knew that as did his propaganda machine. It is time Americans truly investigate and stop trusting the government. The government is not worthy of our trust........just too many clandestine activities going on. One of these of course is the Federal Reserve. I just wonder how many Americans even know the history of the Fed, who put it into fruition (the creature from Jekyll Island) and when it became law.
The Federal Reserve came into law in 1913 when simpleton, Woodrow Wilson, signed the Federal Reserve Act. Several elitist from private banks met secretly in Georgia to put together the Federal Reserve Act. Their main goal was to issue and control the currency in America. The Bank of England (Rothschild) now controls our money. It is deceitful because there is nothing Federal and nothing Reserve about it. It is merely masquerading as Federal. Money is continually printed on printing presses and loaned to the government and these private banks charged interest to us the tax payer and they then collect all that interest. The Fed is a private corporation and this has given unnecessary power to private banks and elitist to control OUR money, the money we bust our butts for. This one act alone since then has systematically deconstructed our country little by little because our massive wealth has been transferred into private hands. Where is our say? Don't we as American's have the right to say where our money goes? Well, the government does not care because we do not have the power anymore, these private elitist do! And they are controlling our money!
Enough is enough! The Federal Reserve needs to be audited NOW! For it has never been audited since it's inception in 1913. It some how is excluded from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), although frankly does this office even work? It is like the NSA or No Such Agency! When Ben Bernanke was asked how 14 foreign central banks who got $500 billion dollars of our tax payer money used that money he said, "I don't know"! Well What do you mean you don't know! That is not good enough and it should be absolutely unacceptable for every American to hear those words!
Lately it seems if you disagree with the president then you are some how labeled a "racist". Every American has a right to disagree with the president and to challenge him and his decisions, especially now when the government seems to function in a clandestine manner. There is no transparency or accountability, for the elitist control and lord over and oppress the people. Just like in the Third Reich. Hitler knew all to when how to manipulate the people. He has his cronies set fire to the Reichtag building just after he became chancellor so that he could galvanize the people into supporting him as their "Fuhrer" or leader. And also before he invaded Poland, he had his cronies take some concentration camp victims and dress them up in Polish army uniforms and stage an attack from the Poles so that they could say they, the Germans, were merely defended themselves. It was all propaganda sent around the world and the masses believed it! This crap goes on all the time! And if people are too naive to thing a Nazi regime can not happen again........which it no doubt will.........then perhaps they really need a strong dose of reality.
Let's audit the Federal Reserve now! And let us as the people be more informed. Stop trusting the government and stop taking the news media (CNN, FOX news, MSNBC, etc., etc.) as the truth because you will not get it there for sure. These major media outlets and Hollywood are controlled by the elite! It is all propaganda designed to manipulate the masses. Don't be deceived!

The Spiritual Future of Man
As you watch the news lately, you will probably hear more about healthcare reform than any other thing. Obviously it is a subject matter that is not going away any time soon. On just about every news channel, you will hear from a "panel" of experts pontificating their opinions and "wisdom" on how to tackle the problem. Their pragmatic approach may seem like the most reasonable response to such a crisis, however all of these "experts" have failed to see a more systemic problem that is
invisible, yet is just as insidious as cancer, and that is greed in man's heart. It is a spiritual problem.
It seems more and more people are becoming self-centered and shallow........lacking in the most basic of human needs and that is compassion. Everywhere you go, just about everyone is nickle and diming you. Banks do it, the government does it. Even the insurance companies do it. Hospitals do it, as do dentists and healthcare facilities. It's greed and it has a terrible stench. As a healthcare worker and a Christian, I have witnessed some of the most unkind and shallow people everywhere. From hospitals to nursing homes to supermarkets to the highway and yes, even many churches. Part of the problem is that this country is SPOILED. We are a bunch of greedy, spoiled, shallow people with not much depth. Just witnessing people watching soap operas and Jerry Springer, and self absorbed facebook, and myspace users, is it any wonder why people are lacking in basic quality traits such as compassion, kindness, and sensitivity to other people and their lot in life.
When I can see first hand in a church of all places that people lack a basic compassion for their fellow human being who needs to be loved despite their weakness and infirmity, I get depressed and saddened in my heart. A church of all places is where people need to loved and accepted but if you find that a homeless man who has a terrible stench because he hasn't showered in several weeks or months is not only looked upon in disdain but is basically treated like a leper, than clearly there is something dreadfully wrong with people's hearts. If the only thing people care about is self-promotion, self-deification, and making sure they always portray the outward appearance of success, which can only mean to them the outward shell, so that others will look favorable upon them, than obviously they have stooped to a level so low that they will have little hope of developing character and substance. Maybe a FORCED entry into the "furnace" might bring about proven character.
The pretense and dissimilation is blatant. It is only until people have been stripped of their pretension and shallowness, (perhaps through a forced "furnace"), will they have any desire to become more human and real. The qualities of compassion and kindness and love may actually begin to take root in their souls and grow. And even unbelievers are capable of that because God gave every man and woman a moral conscience and it is only when human beings start behaving like human beings capable of compassion and love, will this world become an enjoyable place. Until then, it's like living in Hollywood where shallowness and pretension rule or Nazi Germany under the Third Reich which glorified a malicious contempt for human life.
Money, power, fame, beauty and success do not last forever, but you soul does and qualities like compassion, kindness and love will last for ALL eternity. If people will take the time to cultivate compassion and love in their souls, they might actually grow and mature as a human being. Frankly if you do not have these qualities, then you are a waste of a human life and bring nothing but destruction and hurt to those around you.
In the days before the flood in the book of Genesis, God looked on the heart of man and saw NOT ONE good intention and He repented that he even created man............"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted His way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth"..............vs. 5-13.

Pope calling for Anti-Christ's arrival!

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Benedict called on Tuesday for a "world political authority" to manage the global economy and for more government regulation of national economies to pull the world out of the current crisis and avoid a repeat.
The pope made his call for a re-think of the way the world economy was run in a new encyclical which touched on a number of social issues but whose main connecting thread was how the current crisis has affected both rich and poor nations.
Parts of the encyclical, titled "Charity in Truth," seemed bound to upset free marketers because of its underlying rejection of unbridled capitalism and unregulated market forces, which he said had led to "thoroughly destructive" abuse of the system and "grave deviations and failures."
An encyclical is the highest form of papal writing and gives the clearest indication to the world's 1.1 billion Catholics -- and to non-Catholics -- of what the pope and the Vatican think about specific social and moral issues.
The pope said every economic decision had a moral consequence and called for "forms of redistribution" of wealth overseen by governments to help those most affected by crises.
Benedict said "there is an urgent need of a true world political authority" whose task would be "to manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result."
Such an authority would have to be "regulated by law" and "would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights."
"Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums," he said.
The United Nations, economic institutions and international finance all had to be reformed "even in the midst of a global recession," he said in the encyclical, a booklet of 141 pages.
The pope's call for a supranational body to tackle global economic woes disturbed some Catholic capitalists.
Sounds just like the Anti-Christ who will control all commerce and trade with his mark 666 as described in Revelation 13. (The Anti-Christ and his false prophet).

True patriotism!
Dear friend,
Allow me to say, that it excites both my wonder and concern, that a Christian minister such as yourself, should think it worth his while to attempt political reforms. When I look around upon the present state of the nation, such an attempt appears to me, to be no less vain and foolish, than it would be to paint the cabin--while the ship is sinking! Or to decorate the parlor--while the house is on fire!
When our Lord Jesus was upon earth, He refused to get involved in disputes or politics, "Friend, who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over you?" Luke 12:14. "My kingdom is not of this world! If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight!" John 18:36. God's children belong to a kingdom which is not of this world; they are strangers and pilgrims upon earth, and a part of their Scriptural character is, that they are the "quiet in the land." Psalm 35:19.
Satan has many contrivances to amuse people, and to divert their thoughts from their real danger!
My dear sir, my prayer to God for you is--that He may induce you to employ the talents He has given you, in pointing out sin as the great cause and source of every existing evil; and to engage those who love and fear Him, (instead of wasting time in political speculations, for which very few of them are competent,) to sigh and cry for our abounding abominations, and to stand in the breach, by prayer, that God's wrath may yet be averted, and our national mercies prolonged! This, I think, is true patriotism--the best way in which people in private life may serve their country.
I consider the ungodly as saws and hammers in the hand of the Lord. So far as they are His instruments, they will succeed--but not an inch further! Their wrath shall praise Him, and be subservient to His designs!
If our lot is so cast that we can exercise our ministry free from stripes, fines, imprisonments, and death--it is more than the gospel has promised to us! If Christians were quiet when under the cruel governments of Nero and other wicked persecutors, when they were hunted down like wild beasts--then we ought to be not only quiet but very thankful now! It was then accounted an honor to suffer for Christ and the 'offence of the cross'!
Those are to be greatly pitied, who boast of their 'liberty'--and yet they do not consider that they are in the most deplorable bondage as the slaves of sin and Satan, under the curse of God's law and His eternal wrath! Oh! for a voice to reach their hearts, that they may know their true and dreadful state--and seek deliverance from their horrific thraldom! May you and I labor to direct them to the one thing, which is absolutely needful, and abundantly sufficient.
If I had the wisdom or influence to soothe the angry passions of mankind--I would gladly employ them! But I am a stranger and a pilgrim here in this world. My charter, my rights and my treasures, are all in heaven--and there my heart ought to be. In a very short time, I may be removed (and perhaps suddenly) into the unseen and eternal world--where all that now causes so much bustle upon earth--will be of no more importance to me--than the events which took place among the antediluvians!
In the hour, when death shall open the door into eternity--many things which now assume an 'air of importance', will be found as light and unsubstantial as a child's dream!
How crucial then, is it for me--to be found watching, with my lamp burning, diligently engaged in my proper calling! For the Lord has not called me to set governments right--but to preach the gospel, to proclaim the glory of His name, and to endeavor to win souls! "Let the dead bury their own dead--but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God!" Luke 9:60. Happy is that servant, whom his Master finds so doing, when He returns!
As you have forced me to respond--both duty and love have obliged me to be faithful and free in giving you my thoughts.

A Tribute to my cat, Sabrina....my best friend and companion.
When I moved out to Northwestern PA to help my dad who was just recovering from surgery and rehab due to a leg amputation, I decided to adopt a cat from the animal friends shelter in St. Mary's. I have never adopted a cat from an animal shelter before but I have always had kittens and cats in my life ever since I was a little girl. As a little girl, I would dress my kittens up in a dolly dress and surprisingly they would tolerate it.
As I walked into this shelter, there were cats everywhere. Some were missing an eye and some that just looked destitute. Many of them were strays, many were abused and many were abandoned. I spent some time there looking around and tried to find "the one" who would stand out but none did for some reason. I mentioned to the owner that I wanted a cat without claws and she showed me one who was a very quiet, large tom cat. He was so reserved that they had to keep him in a separate room. I went ahead and agreed that he was the one I would adopt but I still had my reservations. They told me to come back in a couple days to finish the adoption. When I came back those couple days later, as I was waiting for them to get tom cat ready, out comes this darling little girl, prancing into the room with shiny black hair and a big fluffy tail. She meowed at me as if to say, "hi, who are you"? Right then and there I knew she was "the one". She still had her claws, but I did not mind because I fell in love with her right away. So I adopted her in January of 2008.
When she came home with me, she spent several hours affectionately rubbing my legs and hands, I guess to get to know me or something. After awhile, she started to investigate my apartment and soon made herself at home. She quickly established a routine and found her favorite hang out places and sleeping places. We bonded pretty quickly. In all my years of owning cats, I have never seen a cat eat doritos and potato chips, but that she did. She would literally put her whole head and paw in the bag and steal one and eat it. At first I got mad, but eventually I realized this was our bonding time, so I let her do it. She would always greet me at the door when I came home from work and would not let me do anything until I greeted her and kissed her and gave her some "love" time. She needed her daily cup filled with affection. She would follow me around my apartment like a puppy dog and "hang out" with me. When I was upset and crying, she would immediately sense this and come to my aid to comfort me and show me her unconditional love. If I was talking to myself, she would hear me and come to me to see what I was saying. When I would wake up in the morning, the first thing I would do was go to the bathroom. She would get up right away and come into the bathroom to sit on my lap while on was sitting on the toilet. This was her way of saying good morning.

If I was working on my computer, she would want to sit upright on her bottom on my lap so I could pet her tummy hairs that were so curly and soft. She would always join me at eating time of course and to watch the evening news. She always left me a treat in the morning of a overturned trash can with a trail of scraps and tissues left on the floor (I am certain this came from her nomadic days of roaming the streets). To sum it up, she was my best friend!
When Sabrina and I moved back east into my brother's basement, she adjusted well or so I thought. She would always follow me up the stairs but we soon found out that she was the "night prowler" and we decided to keep the door shut at all times. She tolerated my nephews well even though they teased her. Sometimes she would "scrape" them as my nephew Ben would say but again it was because she was being teased or that she was afraid. Sabrina did have a problem with being pet too much. It's intrinsic to their personality. After she got to know me however, she stopped doing it to me.
As the months passed on, we got by, but I had many challenges that were keeping me preoccupied so I did not realize that Sabrina was slipping away. She started to drink and pee excessively. She seemed uninterested in having any fun. She appeared lethargic and quiet and depressed at times, but I thought maybe my mood was effecting her, so I really did not seem too concerned. Then I started to notice that she was losing a lot of weight because she was not eating, her hair was falling out and her breath smelled really bad. She had ulcers around her gums and her teeth were brown and chipped. She also would vomit a lot and dry heave. And then she had a very strong body odor (the waste and toxins were building up in her tiny body and poisoning her). It was like she took a sudden nose dive in a matter of days. This was when I realized something was terribly wrong.
So I began to research her symptoms online and found several sights on chronic kidney failure and the symptoms of this terminal disease fit her to a T. I did not even have to get blood work done to confirm diagnosis. I already knew. She was crashing and in crisis mode. This was an emergency. I had to make a quick decision. I could not stand by and see her waste away into nothing and suffer. That would break my heart. I also knew I did not have the money for repeated vet visits and several medications to sustain her life for perhaps only a few more weeks. This disease was terminal no matter what heroic measures I would take, so I made the decision to put her to sleep. But not before I spent extra quality time with her giving her love and affection which I think she desperately wanted and needed. I remember several times she would sit on her perch and just stare at me as if to say, "mom, what is wrong with me"? Funny thing though, when she wanted to get out of my room, she would take her paw and pull that door wide open with no problem. Looking back, I think she was a little ticked off because she felt so crummy.
I took her outside and walked her and she enjoyed that very much. That seemed to lift her out of her depression. I caressed her and reassured her that her battle would be over soon and she would not have to suffer anymore. I told her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me and that she was a brave little kitty cat. I fed her fresh cooked chicken breast and tuna, which she enjoyed but later she did not want to eat at all. I knew she was really sick and anemic........she felt cold to touch. Her heart was beating rapidly which led me to believe she could possibly be in congestive heart failure. The day before I put her to sleep, she was restless. She could not get comfortable but she managed to make it through the night. The day of the appointment, this past Friday, I came home from cashing my check so I could pay the vet and I called her name and she came to me right away. I think she knew because she really did not fight me. She was just too tired and sick. The people at the vets' were so nice. They made sure that I had enough time to cry and hold my kitty as she lay there lifeless. They gave me a towel and some tissues and left me alone to hold my kitty. Truly it was so heartbreaking. I felt so empty afterwards. My best friend gone.
Looking back, I wish I had recognized her struggle earlier. I would have spent so much more time with her, comforting her as she did me. I would have kept her first on my priority list, but instead, because I did not know that she was in kidney failure, I was busy and neglected her. I was too selfish to think of her. I could have had more time with my baby before she died. But I could not assuage my guilt by prolonging her suffering. I felt it was in her best interest to let her go so she would not have to hold on and suffer only to meet my needs.
I buried her at a local park under a tree. A quiet place so I could go and visit her. I miss her dearly and wish I could have my Sabrina back because she was very special. I can not just trade her in for a new model. I will always remember her and when I think of her I have good memories, like when she would wake me up faithfully every morning at 4 am by batting the window blinds and making so much noise. I can't help but be sad because I wish she never had this terminal disease and I would have loved to have had many more good years with her companionship. I know animals do not have souls but you would swear they did because they just seem to know how to communicate and understand you when you love them. I know God gave us these sweet animals to love and cherish. I thank God for giving me Sabrina even though it was for a brief time, and I thank God for healing me of my grief and filling my cup when I felt so empty when she died.

As I walked into this shelter, there were cats everywhere. Some were missing an eye and some that just looked destitute. Many of them were strays, many were abused and many were abandoned. I spent some time there looking around and tried to find "the one" who would stand out but none did for some reason. I mentioned to the owner that I wanted a cat without claws and she showed me one who was a very quiet, large tom cat. He was so reserved that they had to keep him in a separate room. I went ahead and agreed that he was the one I would adopt but I still had my reservations. They told me to come back in a couple days to finish the adoption. When I came back those couple days later, as I was waiting for them to get tom cat ready, out comes this darling little girl, prancing into the room with shiny black hair and a big fluffy tail. She meowed at me as if to say, "hi, who are you"? Right then and there I knew she was "the one". She still had her claws, but I did not mind because I fell in love with her right away. So I adopted her in January of 2008.
When she came home with me, she spent several hours affectionately rubbing my legs and hands, I guess to get to know me or something. After awhile, she started to investigate my apartment and soon made herself at home. She quickly established a routine and found her favorite hang out places and sleeping places. We bonded pretty quickly. In all my years of owning cats, I have never seen a cat eat doritos and potato chips, but that she did. She would literally put her whole head and paw in the bag and steal one and eat it. At first I got mad, but eventually I realized this was our bonding time, so I let her do it. She would always greet me at the door when I came home from work and would not let me do anything until I greeted her and kissed her and gave her some "love" time. She needed her daily cup filled with affection. She would follow me around my apartment like a puppy dog and "hang out" with me. When I was upset and crying, she would immediately sense this and come to my aid to comfort me and show me her unconditional love. Is there a future for our young people
The erosion of jobs and employment benefits will hurt most young people starting out in their careers. But the lack of benefits and jobs are nothing compared to the grand slam of government policies. With the national debt climbing and federal deficits out of control who will have to shoulder the burden to raise revenue for the government. This generation is already dealing with staggering college costs and credit card debt, not to mention absurd health care costs. Oh, and did I forget........the costs of rents, food and gas. Most young people today are stuck in low paying jobs with no healthcare benefits, the thought of them having to pay higher taxes will only put more pressure of their stifling lives.
When the federal government was smaller, through the 18th and 19th century, it ran temporary deficits only in times of war and prolonged recessions. These were later made up with years of surpluses. But the Great Depression and World War II blew up domestic and military spending for good. In 2005, the national debt was three times as large as the entire federal budget-more than $8 trillion. Due in part from a lack of tax revenue. Tax revenues have been at there lowest in years and tax cuts are continually given to rich corporations and rich geezers........middle-aged or older Americans.
The current budget deficits amount to garnishing the wages of young people to fatten the wallets of todays moguls. As low-earners, with the lowest net-worth of any age group, young people gain little from tax cuts or tax breaks on investment. However, as the Boomers approach retirement, they will probably liquidate their assests. Rather than invest their money or buy consumer goods, they will hold onto their cash, creating shortages in consumer demand. Even now as we face a global slow down, the impact of global aging will be of such consequence, that there will no way to restore balance.
When analysts assess the fiscal health of the government, they look at current budget deficits, income, and spending. The generational-accounting approach compares total government spending, including long-term obligations like Social Security, with the total tax revenues expected from living generations over their lifetimes. In the long run, every discrepancy between the two must be made up, with interest, by unborn generations through higher taxes and higher debt payments.
Many young people today worry that Social Security will not be there for them when they retire simply because the federal social insurance system and perhaps even the entire federal budget will collapse under the strain of 70 million Boomers. When and if those beams buckle, todays young people will feel the weight. Even now, they realize that they are paying for choices they did not make and benefits they may not enjoy. How are these young people going to fund their retirements when jobs are scarce, pensions are all but gone and inflation is eating away at just about any savings they may have. I am sure many are angry at the prospect of paying far more than their share because irresponsible politicians have been running up deficits and making promises they can not keep.
And thanks in part to these deliberate policies by both parties, the generational divide has become a class divide. Boomers today benefited largely from the GI Bill, helping them attend college and then buy their homes. They have the highest average net worth by far, and the members of Congress, many of whom are Boomers, preserve their fortunes and pass the bill to their own grandchildren through those tax cuts on wealth and growing budget deficits. Keep in mind though, that spending on old people rewards the accomplishments of the past, but spending on young people endows the achievements of the next century.
But right now, this generation has little hope of grasping the American dream, much less making any progress towards a better life. Personally I think Social Security is the biggest ponzi scheme known to man, even worse than Bernie Madoffs. Consider Ida May Fuller. She was the first person to receive a Social Security benefit check. Ida May, a legal secretary in Vermont, paid 1% of her income into the system from age 63 to age 65, for a total of $24.75 in payroll taxes. She retired in 1940, lived to be 100 and collected a grand total of $22, 888.92 in benefits, almost a 1000 times return on her *investment*. And all those Ida Mays add up. According to the Congressional Budget Office, Americans born between 1876 and 1937 are projected to receive a total of $8.1 trillion more out of the Social Security system than they paid into it. And who makes up the shortfall...........well we already know that.

Thoughts of Heaven even on a good day!
Looking at this picture makes me think of a vacation with joyous rest, where there are no worries or cares in the world. Imagine nothing but peaceful bliss and yet even on this good day, it simply can not compare to what Eternity with the Lord Jesus will be like. The Bible gives us a glimpse into this glorious abode where supernatural to us now is only natural and normal there. Where there is perfection and beauty beyond comprehension. And yet, I wonder how many of us who personally know the Lord Jesus Christ actually ponder this. Unless, of course, you have been through struggle after struggle and difficulty after difficulty.
Suffering makes you long for Heaven. It makes you long to be in the presence of a perfect God while embracing and feeling His rapturous love, a feeling this earth and physical existence could never give you. Right now, we can not fully feel the height, depth, length and breadth of Gods love until we are made into the incorruptible (I Corinthians 15:52-54). Certainly we can experience and know of Gods intimate love and care over our lives but nevertheless, it does not negate the pain and suffering of living in a flesh and blood existence that is subject to weakness, fraility and sin. We know each day we are dying, certainly as we age.
It is sin that has brought death to all (Roman 5:19), but it is Jesus Christ who has conquered death and the grave! Oh Praise be to Jesus who has given us the victory over death and the grave! The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.....I Corinthians 15:56-57.
I was reading an inspiring book written by Don Piper called *90 Minutes in Heaven*. I felt such excitement, but also relief, when I read this book because I finally found someone with which I can relate. I too just want so badly to be in Eternity with my Lord Jesus. I think about it every day. This mindless physical existence inspires very little hope for me and is a constant reminder to affectionately long for my real home where my true citzenship is. This book tells the real story of Don Piper who, in 1989, was in a serious auto accident that literally killed him. He had no vital signs, no pulse and was declared dead by rescue personnel. During his 90 minutes of death, he was taken to Heaven and given a glimpse into this realm of glory. While he was there, God sent a pastor at the site of the accident to pray for his dead body. The man who prayed was certain God was telling him to do that. So 90 minutes later, after the pastor prayed for him, the supernatural, although completely natural and normal to God, happened and Don came back to life.
But not without many years of agonizing pain and suffering. Because of the severity of his injuries.....much too tramatic to describe without making ones stomach turn, he was reduced to such limitations that he felt worthless. I know exactly how that feels, Lord knows I do. He struggled every day with depression, often times longing for isolation, refusing help from people trying to minister to him. He lie there in a hospital bed for several long agonizing months in one position. His injuries prevented him from being raised up or being turned and repositioned in the bed. Just the slightest move of his extremeties caused excruciating pain, even while on large doses of morphine. He endured many bedsores before they finally switched his mattress to an air mattress designed specifically for bed ridden patients (bed bound patients often struggle with phenomia and decubitis ulcers). His recovery was long and arduous and that is why the realities of his circumstances were so hard to accept. He questioned God so many times as to why God would torture him by bringing him back to this kind of suffering. He wanted to die every day, especially after he experienced Heaven for 90 minutes. But why would God do this. Why would God inflict such horrible pain. These questions he asked himself everyday. I imagine Job who cursed the day he was born and questioned God as to why God would allow him to be born.....only to know trouble and sorrow all the days of his life (Job chapter 3).
Don Piper went to Heaven when he died and yet God allowed him to live to see his devoted wife and children again, and yet still, he wanted to die, again and go back to the paradise that Jesus showed him. That right there is enough to explain why many Christians long for Eternity right now..........they do not want to wait, they want to go right now, even leaving behind many temporal blessings. When God allows you to taste excruciating pain and rejection or loss, or when God gives you a glimpse of Eternity, there is only one response.............to be where Jesus is and nothing else! That is what I want every day because therein lies my future (Job 3:20-24).
I would encourage everyone to read Don Piper*s testimony. He will inspire you to long for Eternity and it will remind you of how awesome our Lord God Jehova is!

Who really is running Washington
I was reading the USA TODAY paper from Friday January 30, 2009, and I had to save a comic strip from the Forum section. The comic strip reveals a Republican and a Democrat on a ledge and the Democrat is throwing a large bag of cash with the words econ. bailout into the LARGE mouth of a man labeled RICH BANKERS. The Repulican says to the Democrat, *That is crazy. Step aside*. Right beneath is the exact same picture but with the Republican throwing a large bag of cash with the words Tax Cut$ on it into the LARGE mouth of the same man labeled RICH BANKERS.
And how true it is! For anyone who actually thinks Amercia is still a democracy, they need to get their head out of the stone age! Things have changed radically and perhaps more and more people will open their eyes to the truth. The financial industry is really running policy in Washington, not the elected officials. The Justice department, the White House, the Federal Reserve, and both houses of Congress are basically run by *The Bank*, which is immune to the most basic oversight. These banks have powerful lobbyists that have literally usurped Congress. In a word, they are Congress! With billions of dollars spent to protect the bank and all the clandestine favors awarded, coupled with intimidation and manipulation, they (the bank) have essentially taken over. After all, Congressmen have their own preferred customer lists.
But this is why Washington does not work anymore and why it is *broken*. You can kiss the American dream goodbye as well as your savings, if you have any, and the only way change will be in order is to go back in history and listen and learn from the likes of Lincoln, Jefferson and Jackson. All unique in their own right, for no one, not even the current President, can be compared to them. All three of them had such disdain for those international bankers and feared the *creature from Jekyll Island*, aka the Federal Reserve.
If you are a Born-Again Believer, you probally are already aware of this as it is your duty to seek the Truth and to ask God for discernment. Unfortunately, there are still many Believers who are ignorant of the times. Texe Marrs, although not a popular author but brilliant nonetheless, wrote an excellent book called *Circle of Intrique*. It is about 10 men who believe themselves to be blood line royalty and a dynasty intended to rule the world, because of their untold fabulous wealth. He calls them the *Ulluminati*. And much to the chagrin of the reader, it is not a conspiracy theory as some suggest, but rather a hidden global agenda to bring all nations under their subjection, hence the NEW WORLD ORDER. Much like freemason, as many of our former Presidents are, but on a much larger scale treating those in high positions of power, i.e. the US President, as nothing but a puppet who strings are pulled by the Ulluminati. Before you write it off, remember this.............the rich have always ruled the world!

Things have changed radically and perhaps more and more people will open their eyes to the truth. The financial industry is really running policy in Washington, not the elected officials. The Justice department, the White House, the Federal Reserve, and both houses of Congress are basically run by *The Bank*, which is immune to the most basic oversight. These banks have powerful lobbyists that have literally usurped Congress. In a word, they are Congress! With billions of dollars spent to protect the bank and all the clandestine favors awarded, coupled with intimidation and manipulation, they (the bank) have essentially taken over. After all, Congressmen have their own preferred customer lists.
But this is why Washington does not work anymore and why it is *broken*. You can kiss the American dream goodbye as well as your savings, if you have any, and the only way change will be in order is to go back in history and listen and learn from the likes of Lincoln, Jefferson and Jackson. All unique in their own right, for no one, not even the current President, can be compared to them. All three of them had such disdain for those international bankers and feared the *creature from Jekyll Island*, aka the Federal Reserve.
If you are a Born-Again Believer, you probally are already aware of this as it is your duty to seek the Truth and to ask God for discernment. Unfortunately, there are still many Believers who are ignorant of the times. Texe Marrs, although not a popular author but brilliant nonetheless, wrote an excellent book called *Circle of Intrique*. It is about 10 men who believe themselves to be blood line royalty and a dynasty intended to rule the world, because of their untold fabulous wealth. He calls them the *Ulluminati*. And much to the chagrin of the reader, it is not a conspiracy theory as some suggest, but rather a hidden global agenda to bring all nations under their subjection, hence the NEW WORLD ORDER. Much like freemason, as many of our former Presidents are, but on a much larger scale treating those in high positions of power, i.e. the US President, as nothing but a puppet who strings are pulled by the Ulluminati. Before you write it off, remember this.............the rich have always ruled the world!

Greedy, deceptive banking practices.........
I wonder how many of you out there have experienced what I have just experienced with my bank, (I am sure it is too numerous to count). I had a check come through for $450 and several small debit transactions for items such as gas and food and one for a drug store all on the same day, just one day shy of my usual $350 direct deposit from work on Friday. The bank cleared the large check first and then paid all 5 other small debit transactions but not without hitting me up with 6 overdraft fees of $36 each. When I called the bank, I was made to feel like I was an idiot and a bad money manager and when the bank did credit 4 of the 6 overdraft fees, they made it quite clear to me that they were being MORE THAN GENEROUS. More than generous! WOW, they just got $700 billion from Congress and they could not even credit me one more fee of just $36! That simple credit of $36 would have saved me.........I needed that money for gas and food for the week until I got paid again. I am sure many of you out there have gone through this very thing.
And what has Congress done to regulate such clever banking practices.............absolutely NOTHING, as usual! Between 20 and 40 million Americans do not have a bank account.......not because they do not have the money or that they have bad credit, but because they simply do not have ENOUGH money to avoid all these deceptive fees and TRAPS! Many banks authorize debit cards over their limit, then slap insufficient-funds fees when the transactions put the customers account into the red. These banks computers are PROGRAMMED to clear the largest checks first, so if an account is overdrawn, it is overdrawn multiple times rather than only once. This, of course, means multiple fees, which have risen from $10-$15 to $30-$45 over the past decade. Banks have made millions of dollars from these fees, perhaps even billions and its irresistible to them to make more profit even if its unethical and immoral. Though it seems hard to believe, pawnshops are more heavily regulated than the banks-and ofter cheaper. Pawns have to charge a uniform, capped interest rate with no special penalties. The rate schedule must be printed in full view of customers and there are no additional fees. Banks used to be bound by the same kinds of laws that now protect alternative customers, but now they can charge whatever interest rates they determine necessary and whatever fees they consider fair- these remarkable and unprecedented freedoms, COURTESY of the United States Supreme Court.
This is America right, so by god, let freedom ring! At least that was the sentiment of the banks. They should be allowed to do whatever they want. Walter Wriston, the brainchild of Citigroup Center, succeeded in demolishing the laws restricting credit, laws that had been designed to protect both the banking industry as well as the consumer. The financial industryès record of legislative and judical victories since Wriston began his crusade is simply too impressive to list in full. Sadly, in 2004, while we watched record foreclosures, defaults and bankruptcies higher than the Great Depression, President Bush awarded Wriston the Presidental Medal of Freedom!
Because this is not the first time this has happened to me, I will tell you, it will be the last because I no longer have faith in the banking industry, nor do I have confidence in the bank having any barometer for moral behavior because it is through and through corrupt like cancer destroying all the good cells in the body (even Washington is aware of this and they see the banking industry on the verge of nationalization). The number of millionaires hit an all-time high in 2005, even as foreclosures and defaults kept on rising. Bank profits and credit card company profits are exploding while their customers savings disappear. We talk of ownership in this society, yet ownership society is nothing more than a red herring as quoted by Warren Buffet. He says what we are creating IS a society of sharecroppers, not owners. Neither the mind-set nor the statistics inspire much hope that the DISPARITIES in wealth created over the past generation-the greatest since the 1930s-will get better before they get worse.
All over the country, we are voting to put ourselves deeper into debt in order to have trophy-like skyscrapers and sports stadiums that will be owned by billionaires who did not pay for them. Colleges and universities are cutting deals with credit card companies and still forcing students to mortgage their futures in order to boast of winning football teams and gourmet food services. The IMF (International Monetary Fund) warned that profligate spending was not only destabilizing the world economy but pissing everybody off! All the elements for a revolution are now in place as this country is looking more and more like a third world country. In fact, it already is. All it would take is for communist China and India to stop loaning us money because they feel we could not pay it back. Still our government chooses to take the money from the Arabs and the Chinese while they still want to give it to us and to do it while they can before the money vanishes as magically as it appeared. China, India and the Arabs own this country, yet we continue to boast of our $14 trillion economy, all the while sinking deeper and deeper in the abyss of debt. Curtailing spending is a good thing. Having the banks freeze credit is a good thing. People will begin to save and understand the extremely fragile state of the world economy that can tank, not even with a moments notice. Consider when banks loan money to nations around the world, particularly poor nations, to pay off old debts. Liabilities must be piled on top of the original debt in order to avoid default. Eventually the amount of cash needed to pay off old debts plus the new debts become such a burden that the whole thing collapses beneath its own weight........except of course if you have a large printing press in your back room, which we all know as the U.S. Treasury.
The financial industry spends vast amounts of money spreading the myth that banking is good, debt is good, that what matters is a good credit score and a low interest rate, APPROVAL, as though that approval still means what it did a generation ago when denial was the norm. That it is more important to take that carribean cruise than it is to take care of your financial future. That doing without is immoral and that debt is actually freedom......if you can believe that. That wealth is spending, not saving (i.e. United States Government), and that there will always be more credit, as long as you remain of the preferred-customer list. This propaganda is being spread every second of the day and this taste for credit is being cultivated into a voracious appetite among those who can least afford it. There have been no checks and balances over these such abuses of power and no laws have been passed to protect consumers from these abuses.
How is it that we see record profits in corporate America and large banks, yet see the SO MANY poor people in this country. Is it not because these corporations and banks are so damn greedy that they can not even spare a dime or show mercy to someone about to foreclose or default. The emergence of a class structure is nowhere more evident than in the differential in pay of corporate CEOs and average workers. CEOs have always been paid better that the average employee in this country, but over the past decade the disparity between the two has become even more wide. Median CEO compensation went from $1.8 million in 1992 to $6.1 million in 2000. CEO pay increased 340 percent from 1992 to 2002, while compensation pay for rank and file employees increased a mere 36 percent. By 2004, the average CEO pay was $9.6 million, with one hundred CEOs making more than $10 million and forty making more than $20 million. In 2005, the median pay for CEOs in the one hundred largest U.S. companies increased to $17.9 million- an increase of 25% from the year before. The average employee got a raise of just 3.1 percent during the same time period.
Perhaps I have gone off focus from the original title of this post but nevertheless, all things related, they come full circle. You can not have greedy deceitful banks without having records defaults and home foreclosures and you can not have enormous profits without a large disparity between the rich and the poor........someone, and that someone is you and me, is contributing to these enormous profits and billion dollar pay checks for CEOs. Just because I am a Born-Again believer is Jesus Christ and I have full confidence in His Sovereignty over this injustice, greed and deceit of these banks and corporations, does not mean I should not stand up for righteousness and speak of justice. We are called to justice, just as we are called to righteousness and standing up for the poor and those who are powerless is an act of justice.

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent preverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter; for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they. AMEN
